Verdugo Mountain Bakery & Dessert Co. wanted to look like a neighborhood bakery and coffee shop that had been there for decades. Real bread, real espresso, real people, and a location built around dark wood and blackened iron. This concept was developed for a pitch presentation to a prospective client and was not built out as a live brand.
A new, mission-driven bakery needed to earn its place in the neighborhood while giving something back to the community.
Tastefully ornate branding conveyed old-world charm and craftsmanship. Muted colors, gold accents, and tactile materials underscored the artisan recipes.
A fully imagined brand, ready to become a trusted local fixture from day one, with cohesive packaging across bread bags, coffee cups, and vintage cookie tins, presented as part of the pitch.
